Alliance for Aging Research is the nation's leading non-profit organization dedicated to supporting and accelerating the pace of medical discoveries to improve the universal human experience of aging and health. American Pharmacists Association Foundation in Washington, DC, is affiliated with the American Pharmacists Association, the oldest and largest national professional society of pharmacists in the United States. The APhA Foundation designs programs that look to create a new medication use system where patients, pharmacists, physicians and other health care professionals collaborate to dramatically improve the cost effectiveness and quality of consumer health outcomes that are achieved through proper medication use.

This panel is to present a forum for discussion on pressing issues in health care such as providing relief for American families who struggle with ever-rising health care costs and how greater innovation is critical to face larger issues as the country ages.
