Who:
University of Texas economists Dr. Anitesh Barua and Dr. Andrew Whinston will be joined by Sue Bostrom, Senior Vice President at Cisco Systems Inc. to present the latest findings of their on-going research of the Internet Economy.

What: “Measuring the Internet Economy,” a biennial report by the University of Texas Center for Research in Electronic Commerce details the impact of the Internet on revenues, jobs and productivity gains. The new study is the fourth comprehensive measurement of the Internet Economy since June 1999.

Key findings include the importance of the Internet Economy on:
• Companies’ revenue streams;
• All Internet-related jobs, not just “dot com” jobs;
• Internet-related revenues;
• How the Internet is affecting all jobs.
