2008 Leaders-to-Leaders Conference

Thank you for accessing the 2008 Leaders-to-Leaders Conference webcast. The conference is designed to provide senior executives in business, government, education, non-profit, and faith-based sectors with the opportunity to make a positive difference in the health of Americans by voicing their ideas on actionable policies, strategies, and the uses of innovative technologies. The theme, "Shaping Policy for a Healthier Nation," articulates the goals of the conference which are to

• Identify policies and actions that will have the greatest likelihood of improving the health of Americans along with what it will take to "bring them to life";
• Generate actionable ideas to encourage Americans to take steps to prevent disease;
• Determine specific mechanisms to continue information sharing and collaboration around local, state, regional, and national efforts to transform the health system through policy development and implementation.
