National Council on Disability Releases Americans with Disabilities Act
Recommendations


The National Council on Disability (NCD) released its report, Righting the ADA,
at a news conference on December 1, 2004, at the National Press Club in
Washington, DC.

The report contains NCD's legislative proposal, entitled, "ADA Restoration Act,"
which is intended to restore the protections of the Americans with Disabilities Act that
have been restricted by several U.S. Supreme Court decisions over the past few years.
