The cancer Biomedical Informatics Grid - caBIG: Advancing the Promise of Molecular Medicine

Ken Buetow, Ph.D.,
Director of the NCI Center for Bioinformatics, who will give an overview of caBIG
Joanne Zujewski, M.D.,
Head of NCI's Breast Cancer Clinical Research Section, who will discuss early-phase cancer clinical trials and describe the value of the grid for clinicians conducting those trials
Howard Fine, M.D.,
Head of NCI's Neuro-Oncology Branch, who will discuss how this initiative will support a national protocol for molecular diagnostics of brain tumors
Robert Clarke, Ph.D.,
Department of Oncology, Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center at Georgetown University, who will discuss tissue bank and pathology collaborations
