Open Meeting of the
SEC Investor Advisory Committee
The Commission will hold a public meeting of the SEC's Investor Advisory Committee on Monday, October 5, 2009, in the multipurpose room of the Commission's headquarters at 100 F Street, NE, in Washington, DC,
between approximately 9:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. The meeting will begin at
9:00 am (EST) and will be open to the public, except for a period of
approximately two hours when the Committee will adjourn and subcommittees will meet. The agenda for the meeting includes: a presentation by SEC staff of potential Commission initiatives;
description of the composition and purpose of the Committee’s
subcommittees; consideration of a Committee recusal policy; reports from
the Committee’s subcommittees; and discussion of next steps for the
Committee.
