Ohio University President Robert Glidden will discuss upcoming goals
and plans for the university during the annual State of the University
Address at 3 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 18, in Templeton-Blackburn Alumni
Memorial Auditorium.
The State of the University Address is an opportunity each year for
the president to outline plans for the year ahead.
Previous Broadcasts: Originally broadcast live on February 18, 2003 The National Academy of Engineering announced the 2003 Fritz J. and Dolores H. Russ Prize winner Feb. 18 from the National Press Club in Washington, D.C. The Russ Prize, one of engineering's highest honors, was established in 1999 through a multimillion-dollar endowment to Ohio University from Fritz Russ, a 1942 engineering graduate, and his wife, Dolores. Modeled after the Nobel Prize, the $500,000 award honors engineering excellence and education. It is awarded biennially by the National Academy of Engineering.
