known as "It's About Time." The goal is to create a
record that gives viewers a sense of America at the turn of the
millennium and what we thought about. Eisner is asked to consider
what we should have in mind as we enter the next century; what
are the moral, academic and technological challenges we must
face; and how should we face them.

BIOGRAPHY: MICHAEL EISNER
Michael Eisner became chairman and CEO of Walt Disney Company
in 1984 and has been credited with transforming the company into
a powerful entertainment conglomerate. He oversaw the creation
of a number of Disney's animated blockbusters, including "The
Lion King" and "Aladdin," and he engineered the
successful merchandising of related products. Prior to joining
Disney, Mr. Eisner served in a variety of positions at NBC, CBS
and ABC and was president of Paramount Pictures. |
